Mark L Everett is a musician, composer, producer and playwright born and raised in Harlem, New York. At an early age he learned to play piano by ear at church and studied classical music at the prestigious Diller-Quaile School of Classical Music. He was invited to study jazz at the world-renowned Music and Arts School of New York City. His music provokes a response from all audiences by combining gospel, classical, jazz, hip-hop and soul. He wrote and directed the musical "It's Tight But It’s Right '' performed at the St. Petersburg, Florida State Theatre and the Saenger Theatre of Pensacola, Florida. He recently produced an original gospel composition entitled “Not My Will But Yours” performed by Jasmine Lott, an up and coming visually-impaired gospel singer from Shelby, NC. “I’m glad we’re finally getting to do some real music,” stated Preston Shewbridge, a professional studio bassist.
Jasmine Lott, is a popular gospel singer from Shelby, NC. She is visually-impaired and has been singing in church since elementary school. Jasmine’s soulful sound is mesmerizing. She is often sought for weddings and special church programs throughout the city. Jasmine has sung with gospel artists such as Jeremy Littlejohn of Higher Praise and Demetric Meechie Allen, who later recorded the hit line dance song Shake Your Tailfeather. Jasmine is a walking concert. Anything she sings is gonna provoke an emotional response. Audiences will either cry or shout for joy, but no one will leave the same. During auditions for the song, Mr. Wes Lee, a vocal coach out of Atlanta, GA said “when I heard Jasmine sing, there was a significant difference in skill set that matches the level of excellence needed for a professional recording.“ Mark L. Everett, CEO of eMusic Studios, was inspired to produce and record a decade old original composition entitled Not My Will But Yours after hearing Jasmine sing on Facebook. Not My Will But Yours is available on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, Deezer, Pandora, and 150+ others.
